My name is Maya; I’m 19 years old, and am currently a student of political science and economics at York University in Toronto, Canada. I’ve been in love with Japan for as long as I’ve been aware that the country exists, and will be finally going there for the first time this May (homestay program in Kyoto). Aside from Japan/Japanese, my hobbies include reading, cooking, swimming, and traveling (I’ve lived in 3 countries and have been to 16). When I graduate from university, I hope to get a job that will allow me to travel.
