The one I downloaded was called MoreLocale 2. Again, Japanese wasn’t a native setting in there, but if you manually enter “ja” as the language and “jp” as the region, it will set your android phone in Japanese.

Ah well.

Luckily with computers, a lot of the same words are all over the place, so you can learn relatively little and understand quite a bit.
Just like Khatz, I really recommend putting your OS in Japanese, you learn A LOT of Japanese, and (for me) it shouldn’t take more than 6-12 months before you sort of understand everything.
