Khatzumoto On Holiday

Gather round, children. Gather round. It’s summer and the sun is shining. That’s why I’ve decided to put on my shorts, take off my socks, and bask in the warm, loving light of four computer monitors [see Photosynthesis,  Khatzumoto for details].

So, AJATT will be on holiday for the rest of August. See you bright and early on September 1 for more rants and baseless remarks 🙂 .

May the AJATT be with you.

Go enjoy 🙂 The storms have finally cleared up a bit in the area, and there aren’t too many quakes right now (hopefully :o)

I’d be doing the same if I wasn’t strapped to a desk by “tradition.”

You weren’t always on vacation? Anyway while you’re gone this might be the best time to write an uncyclopedia entry on you.

(Thanks for posting that, Maya. It’s funny, just this morning I felt like watching Lion King and there it is! I love when that happens.)

And a comment that’s relevant to the post: have a good holiday, Khatzu. 😛

I’m in the same situation. Remember, a ‘D’ is a pass! Unless you’re in your final year, which I will be next year, which kind of poses a problem…
I find that I literally cannot do anything but study Japanese. I’ve got so far into it that I start to get angry when taken completely out of my 日本語環境.
Listen to your iPod in class, if you can’t (like me), then take Manga, article printouts off the net etc. to read in class.
Ironically, Japanese as a subject is my worst lesson for studying Japanese in. It’s just as much of an English class as Japanese, which makes it hard to focus on my manga.

    マッカ、
    A ‘D’ would make me cry :’D
    I’ll be a senior this year…so yes, problematic D:
Yeah, same with me. It’s all I’ve been doing like..seriously doing, for months. D: I don’t wany my progress to slow so much. I has a Zune cuz i’m a loser, but yeah..I always have it at school. I bought a looot of manga in Japanese this summer, so I hope I’ll actually be able to read them at school. I should have study halls…but I may need to actually use them for my school work this year….xD Gah. I wish my school still taught Japanese, but they dropped the class a year before I came. Though, it probably would be boring >.<

Yeah I find as well the Japanese class is a massive waste of time.

Ahhh the dreaded school. Great makes me half wish why I go there. Thankfully I bought a lot of Japanese dvds from Toronto and by I mean alot I mean like 40-50 so even if the internet’s down thankfully I got that in my hands I guess when I’m really bored. Ahhh I remember I was literally off my Japanese for like 2 weeks when I was there. Strangely I’ve been learning new words from anime and starting to understand a whole lot. When I go to school I will be well prepared and do Japanese only in my free time. Arghhh anyways hope Khatzumoto the best vacation I know I wasted mine not doing much Japanese except for the last minute…..

    @Fdsfdaafsd

If you don’t mind me asking, where in Toronto do you get Japanese DVDs? Other than anime, I mean… there really aren’t that many Japanese people here, and I’ve been having a tough time finding anything other than anime :/
